Why choose a heat pump?
Heat pumps transfer energy from the ground or air to provide efficient heating and, where configured, cooling.
An appropriately designed system can reduce energy costs over time; results depend on the building, tariffs and operating conditions.
Using renewable heat can reduce CO₂ emissions and environmental impact, depending on the electricity supply and system performance.
Suitable systems provide both heating and cooling to meet seasonal needs.
Which equipment do we work with?
Efficiency and operating costs matter in heating and cooling. We assess heat pump technology and performance against the customer's building and objectives, including the investment case, before recommending equipment.
KENO heat pump: 6 kW, 10 kW, 14 kW, 16 kW, 17 kW
5-year warranty under the applicable termsWe supply and install heat pumps from KENSOL, Poland. They are suited to underfloor heating, and the manufacturer also specifies radiator applications, subject to sizing and operating temperatures.
Kensol heat pump capacities: 6 kW, 10 kW, 14 kW and 17 kW.
Why?
- ✓High efficiency: A+++ energy class for the specified model and rating conditions.
- ✓Straightforward installation: the manufacturer offers a complete kit including a buffer tank, hot-water cylinder and Hydrobox.
- ✓Compatibility: can be integrated with PV generation and the specified UPS protection, subject to the system design.
- ✓Low-temperature performance: assess the stated performance at −7 °C as well as +7 °C; ratings must be compared under equivalent conditions.
- ✓Correct sizing: the manufacturer's sizing software helps select a heat pump suited to the building's requirements.

A buffer tank or hot-water cylinder may be familiar. What is a Hydrobox?
Designed by Kensol's technical team and manufactured in Poland, Hydrobox combines key hydraulic and electrical components in a compact unit.
Inside the Hydrobox:
- ✓Main circulation pump — provides the required system flow.
- ✓Three-stage electric water heater — provides supplementary heat as required by the design, including at low outdoor temperatures.
- ✓Three-way valve for the system's operating modes.
- ✓A magnetic separator and freeze-protection UPS, comprising a battery and small circulation pump. The specified system offers up to 48 hours of freeze protection under the manufacturer's conditions.
Electrical components include the Kensol controller, a protection board for the components and flow heater, and a Wi-Fi module for internet connectivity and remote control.
The manufacturer's stated warranty is 5 years for the product and its included components, subject to the warranty terms. The stated warranty for those components purchased separately is two years.
